We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our logistics team as a Logistic Assistant. The Logistic Assistant will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our logistics activities, including coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to schedule shipments and track delivery status.
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing, and loading of orders.
- Monitor transportation costs and assist in optimizing logistics routes to minimize expenses.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries.
- Support the logistics team in resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures in the warehouse and during transportation activities.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
